Meet Lanette Thomas, Founder of OneStick Charities INC
Lanette Thomas is the visionary founder of OneStick Charity, INC, a passionate advocate for equitable healthcare access, and a catalyst for positive change in underserved communities. With a heart full of compassion and a relentless commitment to making the world a better place, Lanette has dedicated her life to empowering individuals and families to take control of their health.
Lanette's journey began with a simple yet powerful belief: that every individual, regardless of their background, should have access to the healthcare they deserve. She recognized that comprehensive biometric screenings could be the key to early detection, prevention, and healthier lives. Inspired by this vision, she established OneStick Charity, INC, to turn this vision into a reality.
MEET OUR BOARD MEMBERS
Angela Jackson is a dedicated servant leader with over 20 years of experience in community development and human services. Since 2020, she has served as the Vice President of United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades counties' Community Partnership Schools. In this role, Angela has been a driving force in establishing the first Community Partnership Schools in Lee County, overseeing more than 20 programs that benefit 2000 students and their families. She's also been successful in securing over $1.7 million in match funding for two additional schools.
Before her role as Vice President, Angela worked as a Resident Coordinator and a Community Clinic Manager with United Way. Her journey with the agency started over 18 years ago when she collaborated with community partners to enhance the quality of life in under-resourced neighborhoods.
Angela's passion lies in improving education access, uplifting communities, and expanding affordable healthcare. She also has experience as an adjunct professor at Florida SouthWestern State College for four years.
Shanette Thomas
Board Member
Shanette Thomas, armed with a Bachelor of Science degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences, has channeled her passion for basketball into a transformative endeavor in Phoenix, Arizona. She is the visionary behind IQ Basketball, a program designed to empower children in low-income areas.
IQ Basketball is more than just a sports program; it's a vehicle for change. Shanette's coaching philosophy extends far beyond the basketball court, emphasizing not only skill development but also life skills, teamwork, and personal growth. Her unwavering commitment to the youth of underserved communities in Phoenix is evident in the positive impact she's making.
Through IQ Basketball, Shanette is not only shaping future athletes but also nurturing well-rounded individuals with the tools they need to succeed in life, irrespective of their circumstances.
Dr. Willie C. Lynum Jr
Board Member
Dr. Willie C. Lynum Jr. is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for improving the well-being of underserved communities. A proud graduate of Florida A&M University, he holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and has devoted nearly two decades to the field of pharmacy.
Currently, Dr. Lynum is making a significant impact in the city of Philadelphia, where he works at the local health department, focusing his efforts on low-income communities. He takes immense pride in his role, actively engaging in health events, and tirelessly promoting healthier lifestyles among the residents he serves. Dr. Lynum's commitment to public health and community wellness shines as a beacon of hope in the lives of those he touches.
Dr. Olu Ogunjemilusi

Dr. Olu Ogunjemilusi is a distinguished medical professional originally from Lagos, Nigeria, who embarked on a remarkable journey in medicine by pursuing his education in the Caribbean. He achieved the esteemed title of "Dr." upon graduating with a Doctor of Medicine degree.
With an impressive tenure of over a decade in the medical field, Dr. Ogunjemilusi has proven to be a seasoned practitioner. He currently lends his expertise to the esteemed Tanner Health in Carrolton, Georgia, where he continues to make a substantial impact on the well-being of his patients.
Notably, Dr. Ogunjemilusi is board-certified, a testament to his unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical excellence. His dedication to both practice and education is evident through his active involvement in tutoring for essential board exams, including NCLEX, USMLE, KAPLAN, and NBME. His students benefit greatly from his guidance, evident in his remarkable 99 percent success rate in helping aspiring medical professionals achieve their goals.
Furthermore, Dr. Ogunjemilusi has left an indelible mark on the medical community with his three impactful publications. These contributions were presented at the American College of Physicians medical conference, highlighting his dedication to advancing medical knowledge. His research has also graced the pages of institutions like NOVA School of Medicine, CUREUS, and the National Library of Medicine, further solidifying his role as a visionary in the field.

Dr. Fran Honer

Dr. Franchetta E. Honer is a highly accomplished professional with a remarkable journey in the healthcare sector. A distinguished graduate of Columbia Southern University, Dr. Honer holds a Doctor of Business Degree with a specialization in Medical Management.
Her career in healthcare commenced as a Respiratory Therapist, where she demonstrated a deep commitment to patient care. Over time, her passion for healthcare administration led her to transition into this dynamic field. With a career spanning since 1985, Dr. Honer brings an abundance of experience and expertise to her roles.
Dr. Honer's dedication to excellence is mirrored in her academic achievements and her commitment to service. She is a proud member of the International Honor Society, showcasing her pursuit of knowledge and a quest for excellence in healthcare.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Honer's heart for service shines through her participation in seven mission trips, where she provided healthcare assistance to those in need, both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Franchetta E. Honer is also a respected member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc., highlighting her involvement in a prominent organization dedicated to public service and sisterhood. Additionally, she is an active member of the Lake County Charmettes, a community-focused organization committed to positive change. Currently, Dr. Honer serves as the AdventHealth Homecare Regional Director for the North Region, overseeing services across seven hospitals. Her leadership and passion for healthcare administration continue to have a profound impact on the healthcare landscape, making her an invaluable asset to the field.
